\n\t\t\tPosition: Warehouse Operator – Forklift Operator
\n\t\t\t
\n\t\t\tSummary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack and count raw materials and/or finished goods. May also be perform order filler or order checker duties.
\n\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t Responsibilities:
\n\t\t\t• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area
\n\t\t\t• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
\n\t\t\t• Prepare pallets according to prescribed work standards, stacking and tagging
\n\t\t\t• Maintain shipping supplies to ensure order ships on schedule
\n\t\t\t• Receive and process warehouse stock
\n\t\t\t• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
\n\t\t\t• Timely inform supervisor of all inventory issues, supply shortages, shipping issues, and other concerns
\n\t\t\t• Load and unload trucks in accordance with standard work and safety protocols
\n\t\t\t• Ensure loads are 100% accurate before departure of the product from the warehouse
\n\t\t\t• Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure quality, quantity, and item accuracy
\n\t\t\t• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
\n\t\t\t• Prepare records and reports as required
\n\t\t\t• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
\n\t\t\t• Perform other duties as assigned
\n\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t Qualifications
\n\t\t\t• High school diploma or GED equivalent
\n\t\t\t• Must have basic computer knowledge; Use of Microsoft Office products and SAP software preferred
\n\t\t\t• Ability to use RF (radio frequency) scanners, inventory tracking and control systems; no prior experience required.
\n\t\t\t• 1 yr. Manufacturing Warehouse experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility
\n\t\t\t• 1 yr. experience in lift truck operation and safety certification preferred
\n\t\t\t• Ability to organize work to maximize output of shipments
\n\t\t\t• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
\n\t\t\t• Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
\n\t\t\t• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
\n\t\t\t• Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
\n\t\t\t• Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.
\n\t\t\t• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
\n\t\t\t• Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day
\n\t\t\t• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.\n\t\t\n\t\n\n
