Job Summary
This job is responsible for the recruitment of healthcare staff for temporary assignments. This shall be completed through various means, including establishing and maintaining relationships with local healthcare schools, participating in the development and implementation of recruitment and retention programs, organizing, and participating in recruitment fairs and events, using on line methods to attract and source candidates, and analyzing recruitment/retention metrics.
Essential Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Knowledge of nursing and allied health position requirements and terminology
· Ability to screen, interview and select candidates using behavior based selection processes
· Understand all equal employment and non-discrimination rules as they apply to the selection and hiring process; and keep abreast of changes applicable to the organization
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to use a computer and common workplace computer applications such as the Microsoft office suite of products
· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems
Experience
· 3 years of recruitment and staffing experience in a healthcare setting
Education & Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, nursing, allied or other applicable area of study
· In lieu of a degree, 5 years of experience in a nursing or allied health environment will be accepted
Location
Two weeks training in the Corporate Office in State College, PA with the potential for remote work assignment following completion.
