Job Description

Pride Health is hiring Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP or AMT required) to support our client’s medical facility based in Spokane, WA 99202

. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Spokane, WA 99202

Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F

Pay Range: $32-36(Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Responsibilities-:

• Use a system called Orchard LIS, will train onsite
• Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex hematology procedures, ensuring accurate results and following SOPs.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls as needed.
• Report accurate and timely test results to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with specimen processing when required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Education:

• MLS-Bachelor’s degree
• MLT-associate's degree
• ASCP/AMT required
