Job Title: Senior Estimator – Structural Steel Erection

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of specific estimating experience in AISC steel erection, along with expertise in heavy equipment rigging and installation. This role will focus on estimating costs for structural steel erection projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate cost estimates for steel erection projects, including material, labor, and equipment needs.
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to gather relevant cost data.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and submit to clients on time.
• Ensure estimates are in compliance with AISC and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide support during project planning and execution as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in structural steel erection.
• Experience with AISC steel erection standards and practices.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment rigging and installation processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
