This is a staff accountant position, reporting to the Controller at Gripple’s North American headquarters in Aurora, IL. .
*Responsibilities*
* Assist in maintenance, reconciliation, and updating the general ledger
* Prepare and post journal entries for daily, monthly, and adjusting transactions, including payroll
* Verify and reconcile all transactions to ensure ledger accuracy and completeness
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
* Assist with fixed asset management
* Support in period-end and year-end close activities
* Prepare and organize documents for external audits, addressing audit inquiries as needed
* Generate, analyze, and update financial reports to support management insights
* Support accounting software upgrades and integrations
* Collaborate cross-departmentally to resolve financial inquiries and projects.
* Assist with documentation of processes and procedures
* Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
* Proven experience in accounting - preferably in manufacturing..
* Excellent communication and organization skills.
* Ability to multi-task..
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with team members

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
